  17.08.03: Excellent performance as Mulbarton pull of a surprise victory against Mallards.
An excellent 70 from Bob MacKenzie was backed up by an unbeaten 23 by Matt Kelly as well as contributions from Angus Curtis, Mike Eastman and Mike Savory as Mulbarton made 166-6 on a difficult surface. Tight bowling and sharp fielding then restricted Vauxhall Mallards to 143-5 in reply with Mike Eastman's pace and bounce in particular causing problems.

06.08.03: Mulbarton exit the Norfolk Cup as Kettringham Hall's batsmen run riot.
After some quick early wickets Kettringham Hall powered their way to 161in their 16 (8ball) overs. A Curtis and J Curtis put on 39 for the second wicket but Mulbarton were always going to struggle and managed just 69-8 in reply.

20.07.03: After a couple of wobbles Mulbarton ease through friendly encounter.
An unbeaten 94 by James Harris guided Mulbarton to 149-5, Harris carried his bat through the whole 40 overs and held the home innings together after a couple of wobbles young Sam Thelwell stuck with Harris at the end as the two made a 50 partnership to steady the ship. In reply the Costessy Crown XI caused some worries for stand in home skipper Savory as New Zealander Paul Bass scored 65 as the away side made 127 all out in reply.

13.07.03: Hales exact revenge by bowling Mulbarton over at Orchard Park.
A strong Hales side stole the points and dashed Mulbarton's hopes of their first Mid-Norfolk double. Unbeaten fifties by M Lindsay and J Vale guided the visitors to 181-3. Despite a battling 30 from the Mulbarton captain the home side limped to 80 all out.

Mulbarton loose out as Steve Thelwell's 4-35 and James Harris' 3-29 put the away side in a strong position before a batting collapse saw them falling well short of the small total set by Saxlingham.

Home side Mulbarton made hard work of beating Yarmouthians by 10 runs. John Curtis hit 46 and Mike Eastman 33 as Mulbarton racked up 173 all out.

Saxlingham won with 4 wickets to spare to knock Mulbarton out of the mid-week competition at the first hurdle, despite John Curtis' battling 40 not out.

A good innings of 43 by James Harris was not enough to stop Mulbarton slumping to 117 all out. In response Halvergate managed to knock off the runs with only the loss of two wickets.

A Whirlwind centery by T Murray left Mulbarton needing a massive 264 to win. A well played 50 by Mike Eastman managed to help the away side score 131 all out in response in an action packed match.

A very good batting performance by the visitors wasnt good enough to stop Mulbarton slipping to defeat despite a very creditable performance. Bob McKenzie top scored with 40 as the away side scored 176-6 chasing Beccles score of 219-8.

A late pitch inspection and rainy conditions caused Angus Curtis and Mike Savory to call off Mulbarton's latest fixture with Diss Cricket Club.

11.05.03: Battling performance from Mulbarton
A tight 2nd spell from James Harris and a typically mean spell from Bob McKenzie stopped Hales' run chase in its tracks during this tight, exciting match. McKenzie (39) and Harris (35*) also starred with the bat to pave the way for Mulbarton's first win of the season. Mulbarton 175-6, Hales 161-8 Mulbarton (20pts) win by 14 runs.

04.05.03: Mulbarton humbled as they exit the Challenge Cup
A battling 37 from a "youthful" looking Bob McKenzie couldnt stop Mulbarton being soundly beaten in the first round of the Challenge Cup. Set a target of 172 the away side stumbled to 57 all out.

27.04.03: Captain and Vice-captain Fightback Not Enough
Mulbarton fought back from 33-5 to finish on 120 all out thanks to a 56 run partnership between Skipper Angus Curtis(34runs) and Mike Savory (24runs). This was, however, not enough to beat Saxlingham in the first Mid-Norfolk Sunday Cricket League match to be played at Orchard Park.
