performance as Mulbarton pull of a surprise victory
against Mallards.
An excellent 70 from Bob MacKenzie was backed up by
an unbeaten 23 by Matt Kelly as well as contributions
from Angus Curtis, Mike Eastman and Mike Savory as
Mulbarton made 166-6 on a difficult surface. Tight
bowling and sharp fielding then restricted Vauxhall
Mallards to 143-5 in reply with Mike Eastman's pace and
bounce in particular causing problems.||Score

Mulbarton exit the Norfolk Cup as Kettringham Hall's
batsmen run riot.
After some quick early wickets Kettringham Hall
powered their way to 161in their 16 (8ball) overs. A
Curtis and J Curtis put on 39 for the second wicket but
Mulbarton were always going to struggle and managed just
69-8 in reply.

couple of wobbles Mulbarton ease through friendly
encounter.
An unbeaten 94 by James Harris guided Mulbarton to
149-5, Harris carried his bat through the whole 40 overs
and held the home innings together after a couple of
wobbles young Sam Thelwell stuck with Harris at the end
as the two made a 50 partnership to steady the ship. In
reply the Costessy Crown XI caused some worries for stand
in home skipper Savory as New Zealander Paul Bass scored
65 as the away side made 127 all out in reply.

Unbeaten fifties by M Lindsay and J Vale guided the

A tight 2nd spell from James Harris and a typically
mean spell from Bob McKenzie stopped Hales' run chase in
its tracks during this tight, exciting match. McKenzie
(39) and Harris (35*) also starred with the bat to pave
the way for Mulbarton's first win of the season.

in the first round of the Challenge Cup. Set a target of
